History of a Cad Model

The formal approach to modelling in cad can be different from industry to industry this is because the product structure for each of the industry is different. With the growing complexity of the product its difficult for a single CAD engineer to be designing the whole of the product.
This means different engineers working in collaboration with each other to reach a certain goal. this also means a lot of communication and then reaching a conclusion. A way around this thing is collaboration of different domains setting together and then deciding on a thing.
With the auto industry there needs to huge interaction and iteration in the design cycle. Each Interaction in the team leads to the iterations and modifications in the cad, the cad which is soul or in womb state need to be easily updated.
I have seen many designers have there own approach in designing the CAD and a different style of writing a cad History. thus different writhing style of the cad model means the modifier engineer will have to first understand the model and then start working around making things he want in the CAD. The correct approach is to start with the fix model identifying different thing in the cad with the specific nomenclature. Easy use of stand features and Publication links in the object for the references in the cad model. This also means every organisation should be have there own CAD standard and strictly follow them. One should easily know the CAD history and should be able to read through the history to make the modification as per the use.

Whats All Fuss about CAD

CAD: Computer Aided Drawing
Tough being a mechanical engineer and working closely with the cad developing organisation the the essences of making something virtual first has always fascinated me. I know directly going for making of a object in real is a tough task and is a heroic work most of the time but in case of CAD everything seems possible and can be done in within minutes.

Many of my friend are always reluctant to try their concepts all the time in the CAD. one thing is that they dont it easy to sit in a place then model things all day and play with different errors of cad and at the end of the day the task feels daunting and impossible because of the CAD.

Not having the correct knowledge of using the correct command for a function required or to get with the exact result needed is one of the important cause of getting bored with the CAD.
with the professional CAD software's like CATIA , UG  the error part goes on increasing and will be on the steep rise! this make the product design process a bit of time consuming and feels like its taking you no where.
but with the correct learning's available this also can change, though you need to be spending for the professional training its most of the time not of much of use,
the cad process for the industry always vary from each other.A vague approach to Designing in CAD can be disastrous thing one needs to be carefully creating history from Start to reach the desired object at the end.
